Magpie Hornsea Small Bird Dish, Chartreuse

The Bird Dish was created by John Clappison, chief designer at Hornsea in the 1960’s.

Magpie have redrawn this stylised bird from the original illustrations archived in the Hornsea Museum and created new ceramic moulds in two sizes, glazing them using authentic Hornsea colours of the period.
Made from hand glazed stoneware featuring hand applied decals. Each one is unique and beautifully giftboxed.
